For me, intention-setting goes beyond mere goal-setting; it's about aligning my thoughts and emotions with the universal energy field to manifest my deepest desires. In this blog, I'll share my journey with intention-setting, what it is, what it is not, and how it can help you manifest your own desires.


Understanding Intention-Setting: At its core, intention-setting is about defining what you want to manifest in your life and focusing your energy toward that goal. Whether it's starting your own small creative business, moving into a new home, learning a new skill, or eating more healthily, setting intentions helps you to clarify your desires and take steps toward achieving them.


What an Intention Is: An intention is a clear and affirming statement of what you want to achieve. It's a focused declaration of your desired outcome. For example, when I wanted to improve my health, my intention was, "I am committed to nourishing my body with healthy food and exercising regularly to improve my overall health and well-being."


What an Intention Is Not: An intention is not a wish or a vague desire. It's not a fleeting thought or a random idea. It's a deliberate statement of what you want to manifest in your life. For example:


  • Saying, "I wish I could lose weight," is not an intention. Instead, I rephrased it as, "I am committed to living a healthy lifestyle and maintaining a balanced diet to achieve my ideal weight."

  • Saying, "I want to be happy," is not an intention. Instead, I rephrased it as, "I am choosing to focus on the positive aspects of my life and cultivate joy every day."


How Intentions Manifest Your Desires: When you set a clear intention, you create a powerful energetic signal that aligns your thoughts and emotions with your desired outcome. This signal sends a message to the universe, attracting similar energies and opportunities into your life. By focusing your energy and attention on your intention, you begin to take inspired actions that move you closer to your goal. You also start to notice synchronicities and signs that indicate you're on the right path.

Example: When I was planning to move to Hawaii with my daughter, I visualized us living in our dream home, surrounded by nature and enjoying a peaceful and joyful life together.

  3. Use Affirmations: Create affirmations that support your intentions and repeat them regularly to reinforce your beliefs. Example: When I was securing a mentorship for learning quantum healing therapy, my affirmation was, "I am open to receiving guidance and support from a mentor who will help me deepen my understanding and practice of quantum healing."

  4. Take Inspired Action: Take small, actionable steps toward your goals. Trust that the universe will support you in manifesting your intentions. Example: When I was focusing on eating more healthily and exercising, I took inspired action by creating a meal plan and exercise routine that aligned with my health goals.

  5. Release Attachments: Let go of any attachment to how or when your intentions will manifest. Trust in the process and remain open to receiving. Example: When I was overcoming a health emergency, I released attachment to the outcome of my intentions. Instead, I focused on trusting my body's ability to heal and taking the necessary steps to support my recovery.
